This webinar is coordinated by the Stormwater Funders’ Group and the Funders’ Network for Smart Growth and Livable Communities
Earlier this year, the Kresge Foundation commissioned MissionPoint Partners and California Environmental Associates to author a Capital Scan on Climate Resilient & Equitable Water Systems. The Capital Scan was designed to illuminate strategies for using a full suite of capital tools — including program related investments (PRIs) and mission related investments (MRIs) – to accelerate the implementation of Kresge’s Climate Resilient and Equitable Water Systems (CREWS) work – advancing a water equity agenda that supports solutions to address climate-related impacts on water systems, enhance climate planning at the local level, and support integrated practices, and provide safe and affordable water for all people.
During the webinar, Jalonne L. White-Newsome and Kim I. Dempsey with the Kresge Foundation will share their interests in commissioning the Capital Scan. The Capital Scan authors, Adam Rein with MissionPoint Partners and Amy Dickie with California Environmental Associates, will provide details on the Capital Scan and how it may be of use to funders interested in advancing climate resilience, equitable water systems, and green infrastructure
