This funder-only Learning Network Call is coordinated by the Funders’ Network for Smart Growth and Livable Communities (TFN), our parent organization.
This one-hour webinar will feature two of the projects funded by the Partners for Places Equity Pilot Initiative – the Minneapolis Green Zone and an equity-driven update to Baltimore’s Sustainability Plan. Presenters from the two cities will describe these projects, explaining the collaboration between city government, community and funders in equitable, sustainable and climate-ready communities, and highlighting the suite of services provided through this grant program — an in-person grantee meeting, coaching, monthly learning calls, and an equity consultant for each city.
Partners for Places, led by the Funders’ Network for Smart Growth and Livable Communities (TFN) in partnership with the Urban Sustainability Directors Network (USDN), pairs city governments with philanthropy to support sustainability projects that promote a healthy environment, a strong economy and well-being for all residents. In 2014, with generous support from the Kendeda Fund and The Kresge Foundation, TFN and USDN launched a Partners for Places equity initiative to scale a key sustainability practice—embedding equity in sustainability and climate action—in multiple cities.
Please register for this funder-only webinar by Friday, June 8, 2018 to be sure that you receive log-in details.
