Urban Water Funders explores the role of water in urban settings to the benefit of the environment, equity, and economies of communities.
This year’s annual meeting of the Urban Water Funders will be held in Brooklyn, N.Y. and Newark, N.J. with a focus on climate resilience, green stormwater infrastructure, and integrated water management, or “one water” strategies. The convening will begin on Tuesday, May 29 with an optional site tour of climate resilient redevelopment underway in Brooklyn and end on Wednesday, May 31 with funder-only sessions and discussions. The Urban Water Funders welcome participation by all interested funders. Urban Water Funders is an initiative of the Funders’ Network for Smart Growth and Livable Communities.
