Join us for a webinar to learn about innovative foundation approaches to bring solar power to low- and moderate-income communities (LMI).
The benefits of solar power have not been distributed equitably. Several funders are addressing this problem with innovative approaches that bring the benefits of solar — and solar + storage — to LMI and disadvantaged communities. This webinar will share the wide range of strategies that funders are using. These strategies will be featured in a report that will be released a week before the webinar. Strategies include loan guarantees, direct purchase, intermediaries, paying installers directly, and providing free technical assistance to help with planning and design. Some funders are also funding solar + battery storage to build climate resilience. The webinar will include insights from foundation leaders who have successfully implemented strategies for LMI solar. Join us to talk about equitable solar solutions!
*This event is co-sponsored by The Funders Network, Climate and Energy Funders Group, and Health and Environmental Funders Network.
