As Californians experience more frequent and intense heat waves each year, ensuring communities are prepared and adapted to extreme heat is a key priority for California, with over $865 million invested by the State of California to combat extreme heat. On October 18, join the Governor’s Office of Planning and Research, California Natural Resources Agency, and leaders across the state to discuss critical topics related to extreme heat and innovative solutions available to address its wide-reaching impacts. The event will feature experts from diverse sectors and community leaders who will explore key challenges and opportunities to address extreme heat in California.
