December 3, 2024 | 11:30 pm – 1:00 pm
Join NorCal Grantmakers and your philanthropy peers for a lightly structured conversation over lunch to reflect on what the 2024 election might mean for climate & disaster resilience in Northern California, statewide, and at the national scale. This is a space for funders only to collectively unpack how the results of both the presidential election, local and statewide ballot initiatives might influence strategies, thinking, and partnerships over the next year (& beyond).
Prompts for discussion might include:
- What are you hearing from your grantees?
- What are you most concerned about?
- What wins are you tracking?
- How might your organization deepen investments in resilience?
- What analysis, coordination, or connections might you anticipate needing to move your efforts forward?
This discussion will help inform an early February formal session of the Climate & Disaster Resilience Funders Group focused on post-election outcomes and needs across the region.
Lunch will be provided for all attendees.
