Experimentation with municipal distributed water infrastructure has been underway for decades, yet it has only recently entered mainstream conversations among water leaders. Facing the limits of centralized water infrastructure, as well as the challenges of climate change, affordability concerns, and site-specific logistical realities, creative minds are looking toward alternative solutions.
Join Lynn Broaddus, president of Broadview Collaborative, for a national perspective on the potential for distributed water infrastructure to address a variety of climate, equity and technological concerns based on her report Opportunities in Distributed Infrastructure.
The discussion will also speak to funders involvement in distributed infrastructure initiatives to date, and opportunities for funders to play a meaningful role in these efforts.
